You have to have a google account, but you have a blogspt account which means you already have one.

Click on “add subscription” and paste the URL of the blog you want to track.

After you first set them up, you want to click on “mark all as read” (after you are sure you have read all the new posts) and google will then keep track of just the NEW/Updated blogs for you. I even catagorize the blogs by clicking on “feed settings” on the top of the blog view and I put them in categories for ease of organization.

The great part is google reader will then just show you a list of only the updated blogs, so you don’t have to click on blogs you want to read, only to find out there was no update.

You can read the blog right there in the google viewer OR the link to the blog itself or just the new post is right there. Plus, you can set up all kinds of special things like stars and shared items and sharing tools, etc. It’s WONDERFUL and I highly recommend it – especially if you read a lot of blogs.
