The Dangerous Days of Daniel X; A Review.

Submitted by Toni on September 1, 2008 – 12:44 pmNo Comment

A synopsis from the website:
The Dangerous Days of Daniel tells the story of fifteen-year-old alien hunter Daniel X who is on a mission to finish the job that killed his parents – to wipe out the world’s most bloodthirsty aliens on The List.

At the number-one spot, The Prayer is Daniel’s ultimate target. With mind-blowing skills like telepathy and the ability to transform and create, Daniel’s got more than a few tricks up his sleeve.

Now when I first got the book, I was very iffy because I am not a big fan of science fiction, so I will admit I went in very weary and looking to be bored…well lucky for me it was completely the opposite. James Patterson, author of The Dangerous Days of Daniel X, has done it again. He has not only written a brilliant book that has captured my attention (and believe me I am picky when I read) it also captured my 9 year old sons attention.

It has enough action to keep me and my son appeased and the chapters were short enough that my son didn’t get bored. I loved the fact that my son could “connect” with Daniel because of how the time was made current, any book that talks about ipods and playstation will surely capture my sons attention. I must say I was very please it kept my sons attention as much as it did mine. So all in all I give this book a 2 thumbs up! James Patterson is brilliant and as always he did not let down.

For your own copy of The Dangerous Days of Daniel X, head over to Amazon and pick it up for your child (or yourself). Happy Reading!
