List Plan it:Review and Giveaway (CONTEST CLOSED)
I had the amazing privelidge of being contacted by Jennifer Tankersley of List Plan It and List Mama Blog. She asked me if I would be interested in trying out List Plan It for 3 months and reviewing it. I felt as if she were an angel sent to me in the midst of my chaotic life. As most know I am a mom and wife, with 3 kids and a husband lists are about the only way I make life go a little smoother in my world known as chaos.
I have followed her blog for quite some time and love all the lists she posts on it and I just knew I was going to love List Plan It. To let you in on a little secret I am a stickler about mapping out bills and making sure my check book is correct down to the penny. As you can imagine when I came across the monthly bill expenses list and the checking register list I was as giddy as a child getting presents from Santa on a Christmas morning.
I had been using a calendar and writing all the bills on the dated they were due but I would occasionally forget to open to the month before something was due and then I was hit with the horrid late fee. Her monthly bill expense sheet I can write out all my bills for the month in the order they are due and check them off when they are paid, no more late fees (Take that bill companies trying to make an extra buck off me). Here is the monthly list below, but she also has a 1st half of the month sheet and 2nd half of the month sheet if you would rather break it down.

Next I ran right to the checking account register (seen below) and instantly fell in love. It is so much easier on the eyes when trying to balance my check book, in the actual little register itself, and it keeps my checking account so organized I sometimes feel like I could become a checking account keeper for many! Of course I may get depressed if I took on a client with more money than I so I will just stick to being my own personal checking account keeper.
If any of you have children you know what tedious task it is when going grocery shopping, especially if you have to take 3 children in tow. When I came across all the grocery lists I was so impressed I had to give it a go and let me tell you with everything all mapped out on the list it made it so easy to get in and out. It helped me to not have to go up and down every single aisle therefore helping me to save money because my kids didn’t see this thing that they “needed” (yes I am one of those moms that is a sucker and will grab it so I don’t have to deal with a tantrum). Along the lines of this she also has meal planning lists so you can map out your meals and get what you need when shopping.

Here is a little info on what inspired Jennifer to start List Plan It (taken from her about me page on her site):
“Jennifer Tankersley is the founder and creator of List Plan It, LLC. Her love for lists grew out of a childhood where there was always a Saturday morning chore list. She used them, crossed off completed tasks, saw how productive and efficient they could help her be, and has used them in almost every aspect of her life since. This includes 13 years of marriage, 9 moves, 3 babies, and countless meals prepared.
It wasn’t until Jen had been working a part-time, evening job (not to mention a demanding day job as a Stay-at-Home Mom to 3 young children) and found herself facing post-holiday disorganization that she realized her need for lists had truly evolved. Since then, it has been her mission to accumulate a list of lists that would not only Put her World in Order, but also help others do the same.”
So many lists and so little time! She has everything from home managment lists, which includes chore lists that go from toddler to adult, to Relationship lists. For Fun lists to Moving lists. It is an absolutely wonderful site and I completely plan on buying a year membership when my trial is over. Right now she is having a half off on her memberships so if you dont’ win my giveaway (Patience, patience I am almost to that) head over quickly and get yourself a 3 month membership for $4.95 or a full year for $14.95 before time runs out on those prices. Heck do it anyways then you can have that plus 3 months!
Now for the giveaway. Jennifer has graciously offered a 3 month membership to her site, List Plan It, which will give you full access to all her lists and the benefits of a more organized life.

I can't decide! Probably the home inventory & emergency evacuation inventory lists. Since we move so often, we really need a home inventory list, and I've been planning to make an emergency pack for a while but never got to it.

thank you 4 the entry
Right now, the Holiday Planner would be great. Otherwise, I could use them all. I have lists for just about everything. As wife, mom to 7(the youngest being 7 weeks old), student, and supervisor to 25 merchandising reps, I would be absolutely lost with out lists. This looks like it would help me keep my lists from being as chaotic as they have been. I may subscribe to this without winning but wanted to try to win the subscription first as saving a few dollars is always at the top of my thoughts.
My favorite is the Weekly Responsibilities list. That would help me chart out everything I need to get done and see how it would all balance out with appointments, etc. Great list!
