Here are a few songs that have been on repeat on my iPhone lately, they sometimes give me hope and other times bring me to tears but they are very touching:

This first one Cry Out to Jesus by Third Day, really got me through the very tough time when I found out a family member of mine had found cancer on a visit to the dr.

Praise God that all is fine now, we are just waiting on confirmation from the last doctor they have to visit but Faith and prayer got them through this tough time. In fact they were stronger than I was during the process, when it was all going on I could barely breath and all I did was cry but I prayed through it all and God is faithful!

Next is another song by Third Day, it is called Consuming Fire, I have listened to it for ages, it is so beautiful and touching. I mean God is a Consuming Fire and he has rescued me from so many things in my life, bad situations, toxic friends, unhealthy relationships and he has touched my heart in ways that are indescribable.

And finally, this song, What if I stumble by DC Talk. This has been a song I have listened to since I was a teenager and in fact it is a song that is perfect for anyone who walks with Christ or even those who don’t. Being a Christian isn’t being perfect, being a Christian is about walking with God and trying to live as He would want you to but knowing that if you stumble he is right there to pick you up and get you back on path if you will let him. Everyone stumbles, even the pastors we look up to and get our daily/weekly word from, no one is perfect and if you are looking at Christians to be the perfect example it will disappoint you, we try but we fail daily to be sin free, isn’t amazing that we had someone that can wipe away those mistakes for us if we truly ask for forgiveness.
