Good Monday Morning to all my favorite readers
I sit here this Monday morning in deep thoughts while snacking on Tabouli and crackers.
This weekend I was a cleaning machine and this morning I feel so accomplished. My how a clean house if even for just a day makes you feel refreshed. This morning as I took my son to school, we were putting his backpack in place and he goes “Look mom that’s *M” I responded with “That’s Miss M…Is she your friend, do you play with her?” His response to me “Yes (long pause)….M’s my girl?”
UM WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am truly hoping that my girl is just another way of saying my friend because what in the heavens does my five year old know about “my girl”. Well I can say for one thing little Miss M better not be telling him she is his girl or I will have to sit little Miss M down and have a talk with her and see what her future plans entail. Is it a prestigous elementary you plan on attending, do you plan to get all “E’s”? What will your lunch consist of? These are important questions a mother needs answers too before Miss M can be my son’s girl. Ahh nothing better than Loves of the Young Toddlers, these are the best Days of Their Lives.
Deep thought for the day:

lol, Toni. I’m sure it’s harmless.
I remember taking care of 2 year olds who were getting married to each other. It’s soo sweet.
And did you say Tabouli? I’m coming over.
LOL! My 5 year old told me he was going to marry a certain girl in his class!!!!
My girl! That’s so cute!
Happy Monday, Toni!
My 2nd grade son and I had to have a talk because he referred to a girl in is class as “hot”.
Um, no. Just NO.
That is too funny! Kids grow up so fast don’t they? I have an award for you at my blog. (You might have already received it, not sure!) Can’t wait til Tulsa in a few weeks!
too cute!! Im sure it means friend!! Logan has several “girls”
So sweet! I miss my boys being little.
I am very happy to have won the Keurig. No, I am beyond happy. My oldest says Thank You!
I want to know- am I a favorite reader? LOL Just wait till he’s twelve and tells you he has “a girl”- you will feel exactly the same way!
it starts young, will has 3 “girls”
I think it’s adorable! At five, it’s completely harmless. But perhaps you really should check it out and make sure she’s not a hussy.
That was such a sweet response, “my girl.” And so it begins…
Oh, and I won on EM? Can you help me out with what I need to do?
Thanks Toni!
