Carman: Totally Revisiting My Christian Youth Era

Submitted by Toni on March 28, 2009 – 3:55 pm8 Comments

I still love Carman! A few songs to bring you back to the old school christian hits!

Sunday School Rock:

I don’t know about you but I love Jesus!!! How about you??

Who’s In The House?

OMG I am totally going to video myself with that one. JC’s In DA house (or in current day hizzouse)

He’s A Great God

I used to do that dance :) . I should totally try to relearn it.

Last but not least, The Holy Ghost Hop:

These songs take me back to when I first became on fire for God. The worry free version of me. It makes me realize that my worries need to go back to just that, “not existing” in other words me not focusing on them and just giving them to God all the time. Rejoice, Rejoice, Everybody praise Him and Rejoice!

I totally want to see Carman again, next week I will post some more of my other fave songs of his. Did any of ya’ll listen to Carman???

Guilty. I listened to him a lot in my middle school years – Especially Who’s in the House. I was big into youth group, big into “cooler sounding” music with a message. Yep. I admit it.

    Blast from the past!

Carman was my first concert ever–which he puts on an amazing show!

Sunday School Rock is one of my faves (trying to get the kids at church to sing it) and Satan Bites the Dust is good as well.

    Thanks for the memories!

I used to listen to Carman – Saturdays my parents delegated that to be ‘clean your room day’…I didn’t mind so much, because it was ‘Christian Rock’ Day on the radio station we were allowed to listen to…so I’d rock out with Carman and others while getting my room clean… :) Thanks for the great memories! :)
