We try to make it easier by making bigger meals on the weekend that we can eat again during the week
I’m following through google
I buy family packs of meat and separate them into individual packs. I freeze them and then when I need a quick meal I am prepared.
I cook a bunch of pasta at once time and freez it. Then when I need a quick meal I thaw some out and throw in my veggies and sauce – dinner’s ready in no time!
The easiest way is to make a pot roast or cook a turkey during the week end and then split up the meat to use in dishes during the week. I keep plenty of frozen veggies on hand to add along with pasta of all types and rice. Mix together and put in the oven while I attended to the kids and their home work.
with everyones soccer and work schedules we have been eating dinner later around 6:30 so we still eat together

I always remember my mom would make us go to bed earlier every night about 2 weeks until school started. My little one is only 9 months, so I don’t have any yet for me.

Two things come to mind: crockpot and make-and-freeze. The crockpot can be filled and can cook all day. Little effort from me! The make-and-freeze allows me to make a huge meal, then divide it up and freeze into individual portions (for those times when you only have time to heat and eat).
I follow your blog.
I make many different meals in my crockpot. There are some really good recipes to be found online. This way, dinner cooks while we finish up with after school activities and homework.

I make extra serving of meal and then freeze them for later when I’m short of times.
plan out a menu for the week
I make several days of meals on sunday and freeze them. School time is hectic and in oder to all eat together, the meals need to be quick to make. Thank you for the opportunity to win.
Make extra large meals on the weekend that you can reheat during the week.
I make dinner time simple by making it an enjoyable time for the whole family. While I am cooking, the kids are all sitting by doing their homework and we all “TALK” abut whatever is on our minds. Everything is simple….when everyone is happy.

When school is back in session I make meals that can be made ahead of time and frozen. It works well with Chili. I can make it on a Sunday and freeze it and defrost the night before for the following week.

For dinners during school nights, we like to cook meals in advance and freeze them. We also buy a few prepared meals, like from Schwans.
I precook the food before and just warm it up in the oven on the day of.
I like to put something in the crock pot in the morning and that way it will be done by evening. Always turns out good and it is so easy!
I plan out a menu so that I know what I will be making that night. It makes preparing meals easier for me becuase I can Pre Chop or make some of the meals ahead of time.

I plan meals in advance and try to stock items that I can use when I am in a hurry, such as itmes for a quick stir fry.
