A simple way I make dinner time easier when school is back in session is to cook meals ahead of time and freeze them then thaw them out when needed.
I subscribed by email.

I double recipes and freeze the second portion to have available when I don’t feel like cooking.

We come up with several dinners that use the same basic ingredients. That way, the items can be cooked once and used again a few times.
I just keep it to simple/easy recipes!
