Awww! I nursed my first baby until he was well beyond 2, but we never had a name for the things. They were just milk. My second one weaned at 11 months because I was pregnant, so I have yet to experience that. How funny that they can remember it! LOL Ninny was the term my mom used also so it just naturally became the way we refer to them as well. I nursed all five of our children so my ‘ninnies’ have become not-such-a-big-deal around here LOL However, my 17-month-old, Zoe, can be eating brownies and ice cream but if I even whisper the word ‘ninny’ she will come running to jump in my lap and lay down, waiting on her fix haha I think the word ninny has magical powers – and apparently in your son’s case, it’s never to be forgotten!!! LOL

I admit that I laughed out loud at that nickname. I love how innocently little ones can bring up topics though. I am considerably older than my younger brothers and I remember the first day the youngest of the twins said the *f* word, not only did he say it but he sang it to a little melody as he sat in the backseat of the car and all we could do was snicker to ourselves while trying to ignore it as thought it wasn't a big deal. .-= AmyÂ´s last blog ..Christmas Club Card Giveaway and More! =-.

Awesome… lol. How old is he now? I wished I could have nursed my kids longer. They all weaned themselves around 10 months. (walking age) My last baby actually would scream if I tried to nurse her. That was a sad way to end it. I didn’t have nicknames for my boobs, but my milk was “boobie juice”. Just thought I’d share.

I know what you mean. Just the other day my four year old went up to my husband, with his fists punching up at the air, saying, “Hey, you want a piece of meat!” We just fell with laughter. He meant to say, “Hey, you want a piece of me?”

It was too cute. That one went straight into the memory book.
