2009: A Year In Review At A Daily Dose ~ Part 1

2009 has a been a very eventful year here at A Daily Dose, some of those events I would rather have not gone through but you go through things and become stronger. Â So here is a month by month run down of what went down in 2009.
January
- You can see just where I get my craziness from because The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree.
- I participated in my very First Aloha Friday.
- I was so excited to win this gift for my mom
- I had a little experiment and the results were quite funny.
- I got a ticket to see NKOTB again.
- We had a massive ice storm and yet luckily never lost power.
- After finding out my mom had breast cancer in 2008 a few months later my aunt had to have a double mastectomy.
February
- After some stupid drama I decided it is best to Promote Blog Peace.
- My thoughts on What Blogging Should Really Be about, and just so you know it’s not pettiness *snicker*.
- I decided I needed to be brave and share My Story of Abuse, just to give insight to those who may not understand. Â This was probably one of a few “hardest” posts it was for me to share.
- I decided my body was a piece of Poo and wondered WHAT THE ????
- It’s Monday and your first installment of the Toddler Soap Opera
- Sometimes you just have to get out your Feelings
- And I guess I needed to complain a bit too. Â Nadya Sullman annoyed me enough to post this post.
March
- People wondered why in February I was having such a hard month well this little video gave insight as to why I was so hurt.
- Personality at it’s best.
- I just had to share with you My Love for LabelDaddy.
- After having a blogger bash me to a company to try (not successful) to get me deleted from a contest I decided the Blog World was needed for a Blogtiquette Lesson. Â This was the start of a new randomly posted series here on A Daily Dose.
- I came to the realization when sharing these videos that I will never ever make it to American Idol, but at least I still have fun right?
- We go back to the 90′s.
- I love how people don’t read the rules on giveaways. Â It’s called OPTIONAL Â people.
- I went through one of the most scary nights at work ever.
- For the first time ever I was kind of at a loss as to what to do as a parent.
- I saw the hideous fashion, Bikini Jeans and voiced my thoughts on them.
April
- Blogtiquette Lesson 2: Tweet Wars are not cool.
- Letting you get to know Gabriel, the oldest of my kiddos.
- I am a teacher of many things and How Not To Blow An Egg is one of them.
- Continuing update on my mom and why I think she is Priceless.
- Sharing Celebrity Crushes while high??
- Dancing is what I do best…or maybe it’s be Dancing is What I do Best to Embarass myself.
- For some reason I decided to Reflect on Highschool
- My thoughts on Being A Mom
May
- I decided I was the Best Mom Ever.
- The Princess of the Family, she only looks sweet and innocent.
- Body Image is something I dealt with and still do to this day, my struggles are shared in this post.
- I WON A CRUISE…but didn’t get to go.
- A little dance for Mother’s Day
- The Age old question “What Is It With Kids“
- After Nielsen shared their Top 50 Mom Blogs some bloggers decided to throw a big fit about it. Â My thoughts on the big whiny bloggers.
- And because I wanted to make my own Rockin List, I did, so go cry over that if you aren’t on it beause it’s really the end all to your blogging career you know.
- Who knew mowing could be so dangerous and land you in the ER?
- And last but not least, some Blog Girls Just Wanna Have Fun! Â See the faces behind lots of blogs.
June
- See Moms Can Still Do Toe Touches. Â Oh yes we can!
- Sometimes you just have to share that “Hemorrhoids are a pain in the Arse“
- Kristin Stewart obviously needs me to Teach Her a Lesson
- Did I mention Ben Stiller and I are tight, yeah we are just in case you didn’t know.
- I along with pretty much ever other blogger in the world that is someone, thinks Anonymous Comments being rude are stupid. Â And so they inspired Blogtiquette Lesson 3
- I was informed I look like Professor Trelawney for Harry Potter.
- Time flies, my baby turned 4!
And there you have the first half of the year here at A Daily Dose. Â Check back in the coming days for part 2 and the second half of 2009. Â I had so much to remember I didn’t want to make the post a billion words long LOL.

Wow, to look at that list of posts it is hard to believe that I have been laughing, crying,agreeing and praying with you almost that long, love you girl and keep on doing what you are doing!

Wow, great minds think alike. I did almost the same thing on my blog. It’s kind of fun to go back and recap the year for your readers. If nothing else, it tells me to post more “meaty” stuff and quit taking the easy way out by posting funny jokes people send to my E-mail so often!

I am so glad you did this because I just “joined” your blog and looking for stories and reviews, etc so I can get to know you a bit. I already read about your PHONE win for your mom, learned about her breast cancer and also an aunt? and your Abuse story (of which I can associate with well, along with the eating disorder issue)). I will be sure to back track and read whatever stands out to me! I look forward to it! thanks!

Toni, I just recently found your Blog a few weeks ago! Just so you know, I love it and found it by researching Blogging. I am trying to get my own up soon. You are an inspiration to me. I have found quite a few blogs in my search that I want to emulate and am really trying hard to still keep my own ideas and format that I had in mind when I started looking. I love your posts and I love your “throw it to the wind” attitude. No matter what you have a reader here! I will try my best to actually comment when I read… LOL When they are older posts I try not to comment so it doesn’t “mess up” your Blog but found that is not the dealio… I will comment every chance I get! Thx for the laughs and touching stories! Thx for the info and the great giveaways!
