Munchkin Math: Makes Learning Fun For Everyone
As a mom I am always looking for ways to keep my kids interested in learning. I remember when I was young, I would moan and groan when I thought about anything that had to do with learning. I guess you could say I would rather have fun than learn. But now thanks to the Munchkin Math DVD you can have both.
We were sent the Telling Time video to review and I absolutely loved it. My kids are always asking what time it is (minus my 10 year old) and with this video it is helping them to learn how to tell time without asking. My kids can tell me the numbers on a digital clock. Example: for 11:23 my two youngest will say one one two three. So they know the numbers and we have worked on how to say it correctly but of course mom and dad don’t make it fun so retaining it, is rare.
Featuring Wendy, 2 birds, the clock wizards and kids my 4 and 6 year old was enthralled the minute we put it on. With rhymes and interactive moments, this is a great way to keep kids attention while teaching. I loved watching them try to figure out the times and then attempting to use that with our clocks. The video kept their attention and I know with a few more viewings they will really begin to understand the concept of telling time, not only on our digital clocks but also the clocks that have hands.
All in all I loved Munchkin Math: Telling Time and hope to be adding their other dvd’s as well. It truly is a great way to keep the young entertained and teach them at the same time. If you would like to purchase your own copy of any of the Munchkin Math’s you can over at MunchkinMath.com . You can buy them individually or in a set.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Munchkin Math and received a sample DVD to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.

my kids are at that age as well of not knowing the time so this would be good for them!
thanks for the review.

My first grader is trying very hard to learn how to read a clock. We keep getting woken up by her telling us that it is ten o’clock and that she is late for school…. when its really 7:10am. lol! I think it is time for some Munchkin Math : )
I will have to keep an eye out for this for Holt. He will be 4 in January and this would be perfect for him.
This looks so cute! I want it!
They didn’t have anything like this when my kids were little. Its so great to see so much to help the kids today.
