I will be at Mardi Gras too I live in the suburbs outside of New Orleans, so this will be my 25th Mardi Gras… but it never really gets old! I hope you have an amazing time in our beautiful city! Prepare your eyes for beauty & also a little nastiness. OH! & Word from the wise, carry a packet of tissue with you when you’re on the parade routes(unless you enjoy the pot-o-gold drip dry experience) & wear closed toe shoes(you don’t want to know what’s on the ground and your feet sure as heck don’t want to be smushin around in it)! Oh & coozies! Pack coozies in your purse!
