I am a BIG believer in you keep the promises you make, if you can keep them don’t make them, very plain and simple. I know in some rare instances things keep you from keeping your promises but more often than not it’s selfishness that keeps people from keeping their promise. So again I say don’t make a promise or give your word if you are going to go back on it.
