Tyson Grilled & Ready Strips Make My Meals Easy

Submitted by on April 20, 2010 – 3:22 pmOne Comment

I love simple.  When it comes to cooking I don’t like a lot of fuss over food, the less fuss the better.  In come Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Strips and my cooking just got easier.  I am sure most of us know have made Tyson a household name in our homes.

With everything from frozen to fresh chicken. Canned chicken (which I love in my salads, just a little tid bit to share with you) to pork & beef. Have I mentioned their Anytizers (YUMMO).  Tyson is a definitely a staple in my household.  Recently Tyson came out with their Grilled  & Ready Chicken Strips and let me tell you, taste and a time saver = a new favorite in my chicken recipes.

Why do I love the grilled & ready chicken strips so much?  Simply because they are as stated “grilled and ready”.  All I have to do is heat and eat.  Well I flavor them a bit of course but that’s because I tend to like salty flavors, it’s my downfall.  To ready these strips for eating you simply heat in the microwave or in a skillet and you are good to go.  Whether you are making grilled chicken salad or fajitas you are set, no more messing with raw chicken.

Just to give you an idea of how easy it can be, take a look at my ingredients for lunch:

You can’t get much easier than that.  I simply sauteed the chicken with a little butter and garlic salt, boiled my water in a pot, cooked the noodles.  Mixed the chicken & artichoke hearts in with the noodles when they were done cooking and drained and poured over the alfredo sauce to heat it through.  One pot to make a delicious lunch and no handling raw chicken.  The best part is, the chicken strips are perfect size and this meal is one even my kids loved.  So a big thank you to Tyson for this wonderful  product that makes meals a little less stressful in my house, you have no idea what less stress does for this momma!
