As you may recall a few days ago I posted all about American Girls Shine On Now Program in a post titled “American Girl Starts Shine On Now: A Great Way to Give Back“. Â I am a proud parent partner of this program that is teaching young girls all about giving back and making it fun as well.
Being a Parent Partner I get to giveaway one of the soon to be released My American Girl doll. Â The My American Girl will be available for purchase starting July 13 as well. Â What is the My American Girl doll? Â It’s a fully customizable American Girl doll where you get to pick the hair color, length, eye color, skin color, even things such as glasses, braces and of course outfits and accessories so your daughter can have the American girl she created.
Also as part of the new My American Girl launch, American Girl created Innerstar University, a site where your child can have fun with the girl she created. Â She will be able to play games, take quizzes all sorts of activities to help boost confidence and strength. Â The My American Girl will come with an individual code that she can use to register and make her way around Innerstar University. Â So the doll your child creates will come to life and they can interact all around Innerstar University.

I would love to win for my little niece, who has been through a lot in her short life and is still very strong. She’s a real sweetheart, always willing to donate toys and clothes to local charities for children in need. She’s wanted an American Girl doll forever, but hasn’t been able to get one because no one can afford one for her; their very expensive dolls.

The girl I would like to nominate has a huge heart of gold. She enjoys helping and playing with the younger kids at the child care center. She would drop anything to help someone. Through her Girl Scouts group and her 4-H group she has had the chance to reach out to others in our community and learn how amazing it is to help others. Her interests include music, horses, books, and making movies. She is a beautiful person and I am very proud to call her my daughter.

I would like to nominate my daughter, Lydia, who is 10. She is active in our church and Bible club. She’s always the first to befriend any visitors and rarely meets a stranger. This summer she’s befriended a relative of the neighbor’s who is visiting for the summer. It doesn’t bother her that he mainly speaks Spanish and she speaks very little. They’ve still became fast friends.
She’s also a help around the house and a big help with her little brother. She’s really big on making sure we compost everything possible. She’s also appointed herself in charge of recycling in our house.

I would nominate my granddaughter. She helps me cook and take meals to some elder neighbors. She has such a kind and gentle heart, no story is every to long for her to listen intently, and she gives hugs and touches which mean so much.
I would nominate my little daughter who is always befriending some new vistor at church. She so caring and concerned about other peoples feelings.

My daughter Jozy is who I like to nominate. She has been through alot in her short life. This last year he father was deployed for a year to Kuwait and I have a back and neck injury that keeps me from working and playing with my children. She is a big helper around the house and is the first to jump in and help. I am not able to buy the things for her that I would like to because of me not being able to work. She deserves something special.
