February 11, 2012 – 8:31 pm | 2 Comments

Probably one of the most iconic performers in my young years along with Michael Jackson was Whitney Houston. Today the music world has suffered another loss. I got the AP update on my phone and my heart just dropped at the news of Whitney Houston’s death, and yes yours truly here teared up.

Shady Day Daily Sun Protection Wipes

Submitted by on August 26, 2010 – 8:03 amOne Comment

As a mom, I want to do all I can to keep my kids skin safe.  That means sunscreen of course. Their little skin is extra sensitive to the sun and I want to do all I can to avoid early aging and possible skin cancer.  Of course my kids are picky kids, when I get sunscreen I have to take several factors into account.  They don’t like the spray kinds because of the smell when I spray it on them and the lotions they don’t like because it made them greasy.  What’s a mom to do?

Usually I just ended up getting the spray kind because it wasn’t greasy and sprayed it on my hand then rubbed it on them, which defeated the ease of use purpose.  Well thanks to Mom Central I have a new favorite way to get them protected before heading out to school or when going to the beach.   Shady Day Daily Sun Protection Wipes.   I love the simplicity of these wipes that even my kids can do it themselves.

These are perfect for back to school.  Each child can take a pack of the Shady Day Sun Protection wipes in their back pack and apply before going to P.E., on a field trip or during any outside activity.  The package is small enough to keep with them wherever they are and small enough to fit in my purse so if we head to the park on a whim I am not worried that their skin isn’t protected.

You can purchase Shady Day Daily Sun Protection Wipes at www.BeautyBrands.com, www.Ulta.com, www.Diapers.com, and www.RicksNYC.com.  They are not the cheapest sunscreen out there but to my family they are worth every penny (yes I have bought extra packages as I was only supplied with one for the review).  I know I am not the only who has the infamous face battles when putting sunscreen on the face.  No more of that, with these wipes Mom has won that battle because it’s not a battle anymore.

So if you are looking for something other than a greasy lotion or a spray sunscreen (with fumes that will knock you out) you should try the Shady Day Daily Sun Protection Wipes.  They are a hit with my family and might just be with yours too.

Disclosure: “I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Shady Day and received a sample package of Shady Day Daily Sun Protection Wipes and a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate. Opinions are always my own and always 100% honest”
