Probably one of the most iconic performers in my young years along with Michael Jackson was Whitney Houston. Today the music world has suffered another loss. I got the AP update on my phone and my heart just dropped at the news of Whitney Houston’s death, and yes yours truly here teared up.

This year all 3 of mine are in school. My youngest (the princess) started kindergarten, my middle 1st, and oldest 5th. Â So as with tradition this WW is the first day of school. And yes I did cry.

Wow, your days will be even busier. People think that with kids off to school mom’s gain all this time. That’s not true, it’s just readjusted. See isn’t it the mom’s who generally, not always of course, but generally have to end up helping all those children with their homework in the evenings and even help them do catch up on the weekends? So any free time you may have once had in the evenings or weekends is now filled up with this and the more kids you have the more it gets filled.
So granted you may or may not have gained a little non-kid time during the school year, school days if you don’t home-school, but it’s taken right back out of your day somewhere else.
wow, kindergarten is such a huge step.
