I can’t believe it’s been 6 months since I started the Shaklee Journey. It’s been an up and down journey for me, that’s for sure. To remind you, I started because I was not where I wanted to be with my body, I wanted to get bikini ready and Shaklee has been helping me do that. I started at 123 pounds, which may not seem like a lot but for my body it was. It meant a pudgy belly, love handles that weren’t so pretty and me not feeling beautiful.
What I’ve learned through the journey is to love myself. Loving myself means taking better care of myself and making better choices. That’s what I have learned through the Shaklee program. I’ve learned that making a change starts with the want, if you don’t want to change you aren’t going to no matter what the program is.
Using the Shaklee products above I ventured on to try to lose 15 pounds. Did I meet that goal…almost and when you see my photo below you will know why I am okay with not quite being there yet. I have to admit when I first started the program, I was very leery. I never really drank my calories but this was a big part of the program. It did take me some getting used too but once I figured out how I liked to mix my shakes, I ended up loving them. I can totally see myself continuing them as my morning routine even when I am all the way to where I want to be.
Being a part of this program is great for someone who is needing a little guidance in their weight loss journey. It’s not going to work if you don’t think you can do it, you have to go in knowing you WILL become the best you can be. There are going to be times it will get tough but find that support that the Shaklee 180 program offers and become part of a community that will help encourage you, I can’t say how many times that came in handy for me!
In the end Shaklee will help you become a better you (physically) but you have to know that it’s not the program doing it…it’s YOU! Shaklee is something to help you along your path, just like it did me. Now, I am sure you are wondering what my weight and measurements are, as well as ready to see the before and after photos I promised in my very first post. So, wait no more….

That means I lost 10 pounds and 6.5 inches lost. Now the inches may not sound like much and I totally admit to being discouraged a few times over that but THEN I saw my before and after picture side by side and I almost cried. Can you see the difference?
