I am not sure about you, but one of the things that can make me smile and brighten my day are fresh flowers. Fresh flowers just bring a brightness to a room and a smile to my face. With Valentine’s Day (and my anniversary) right about the corner, flowers are one of the gifts I love to get.
There is just something about a knock on your down and someone on your doorstep holding a flower delivery with a love note attached that sets my heat aflutter. What can I say, I’m a hopeless romantic.
Some people don’t care for flowers because they are temporary but one of the best things to me that I have always done is dried out and saved my favorite flowers. In fact last June, my daughter performed in a dance recital and I made sure to save the bouquet of roses she received along with her costume and will be shadow boxing them.
Fresh or dried, flowers can be used to decorate in such fun ways. I am always amazed at the way florists can make beautiful creations with an array of flowers. So many bright colors, woven together in such a way it takes my breath away. With Valentine’s Day approaching this is a classic gift idea that is easy to run with. When paired with a night out, chocolate, or maybe new shoes flowers are something that makes this romantic smile.I know what I’ll be asking for this Valentine’s Day!
Flowers are a great gift ideas are endless for this Valentine’s Day. Just be sure to include a little love note with it, the sentimental part of that is sure to bring a smile to the recipient’s face. What are your favorite flowers or valentines’s day gift to receive?
