and it’s made it’s appereance in my household. Â Yes our neighbors son (who Aidan was face to face with in tackle football) came down with Swine Flu we found out, well a few days before he was diagnosed (but after they had played together) Aidan came down with all the symptoms. Â We were like GRRREEEAAATTT. Â So when we found out about the neighbor we took Aidan in to be tested for it.
However here in the great state of Arkansas due to the massive amount of flu going around, the health department (which is where it has to be sent to in Little rock) will not do the test to specify unless you are hospitalized.  Well Aidan’s  in office test came back positive for Type A flu which can be either Swine or regular.  Lovely right?
I never ever get the flu, I think that is one of the benefits of working in a pharmacy is my immunity is sort of built up but this year with the new flu out it’s gone into shock mode I guess. Â I am not immune this year obvious because the night Aidan got diagnosed with Type A Flu guess who started puking her guts out *raising hand here*. Â So all day yesterday I was dead I think I slept 18 hours yesterday. Â Today the tummy feels a bit better and I ate a cracker (didn’t eat an ounce yesterday) but my body is still hurting like the dickens. Â I can’t move and it’s miserable. Â So here I sit in my bed, just wanted to update you guys but I forsee another day of not moving and being in and out of sleep mode it’s the only time I feel better.
So yes if you came here for a ha ha happy post today you can see it’s a bit on the whiny side but I am the one with the flu so I can whine if I want to 🙂
It can only get better from here right !
