We are a big sports family, all three kids are usually involved in a sport year round. For the girl it’s cheer or gymnastics and both my boys are soccer players. During sports season it can get, to say the least, busy. We always make sure they get a healthy meal, especially on game days when they have to be at their best. However, it never fails, they always get hungry for snacks while we are at one of the games.
Whether it’s right before the game, at half-time, or right when the game ends, there is always game day snacking. Because we are so busy, and going from game to game it’s important for us to have something super portable to hold them over until the games end and we can go get lunch. Not to mention, it has to taste great because I have some seriously picky kids. Thanks where Kellogg’s Special K Red Berries and Kellogg’s Low-fat Granola with Raisins cereals come in.
These cereals, while we enjoy over milk quite often, are perfect Game Day Snacks. The taste is sweet and tart, two of my kids favorite and they are super portable when you pour them in a sandwich baggy. We don’t have to try to pack a bunch of different snacks, and these I can throw right in my purse, so no need to carry anything extra.
Making sure I have their favorite cereals on hand for breakfast and snacking, makes my life easier and their days tastier. Seems they aren’t the only ones with a love for Kellogg’s cereal! Click to download the team and add yourself to the picture!
