**I wrote this post while participating in a blog tour conducted by Burst Media. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program, but my opinions are my own.**
In my house, the holidays mean a lot of baking and cooking in the oven. One of my favorite things to cook is a turkey, it always turns out perfect, however my oven usually does not. With cooking turkey that has a lot of juices, baking cookies and trying to put too many on one pan, it’s inevitable I will make a mess in the oven. It’s just the nature of my cooking….messes and cooking for me go hand in hand.
I have no idea why I seem to be the messiest cook when it comes to anything juicy, but I do know I don’t want to spend hours trying to clean my oven. With it being used regularly during the holiday season, I need something that can cut through the mess and keep it clean. Not any of those overnight cleaners. I love that the EASY-OFF® Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner and EASY-OFF® Fume Free Oven Cleaner come with spot cleaning instructions.
What does that mean? It means the next time my baked chicken bubbles over and I have batches of cookies and lots of pies to cook right after, I don’t have to worry about cleaning it right away. It can sit, trust me, I had a mess for months before I tested the EASY-OFF® Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner and I was AMAZED at the results…
You can see the EASY-OFF® Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner in action (okay and the crud I let sit for months under it) followed by the clean oven 15 minutes after. I really wanted to try the EASY-OFF® Fume Free Oven Cleaner, but my store was out at the time of my visit. I prefer to clean with fume free products because the fumes can sometimes give me headaches. The good thing about the heavy duty cleaner was it wasn’t really “fumey” long enough to smell up my house. I definitely want to give the fume free a try in in the future though and see how it compares to the heavy duty.
So, this Thanksgiving and Christmas, I am not worried about the messes I know I will be making in my oven because I have EASY-OFF® ready to help me spend less time cleaning and more times making memories!
What are some of your baking/cooking mess stories??
