Recently, I was asked if I wanted to be a J. Jill Life Styler. Well, you know me and style, we love each other. Fashion is one of my best friends….speaking of best friends, I have a few of my besties I want to share with you!
My mom has always been my #1 cheerleader and the best friend, who has truly been there the longest. I am so very lucky to have her as a best friend. We laugh together, cry together, and just make memories that will last a lifetime. Some say a parent shouldn’t be a best friend, but I say I sure am glad my mom is mine!
Then I have the best friend, I’ve had since 1st grade. She is the one who has been in my life and even though we’ve moved away from each other, it’s like no distance or time has passed between visits. I tended to be a little on the loud and crazy (but not get in trouble kind of crazy) side in high school. Brandy was the perfect yin to my yang. She tended to be the voice of reason when I voiced ideas that I thought were amazing, which were, in fact not very brilliant. You know, when you almost go back to that guy who treated you like crap for the millionth time…she was the one always there to keep me grounded. And, when I didn’t listen, she was there to be a shoulder for me to cry on…I love this girl and am so grateful for her friendship.
I am a pretty lucky gal when it comes to friends. As you can see above, I have a bestie that I get to go to red carpet premieres with. We met, completely by chance thanks to this crazy thing we call blogging. Mellisa, from Mom Luck, is one of my closest friends and she gets this blogging thing. I can whine to her, celebrate with her, and gab on about stuff some of my friends wouldn’t understand. It doesn’t just stop with blogging, though. We talk about everything and anything. I am always looking forward to the next trip we take together.
That pictures above don’t include my husband who is obviously one of my best friends. He loves me unconditionally and that is not an easy task some days. I also have Justin, who I have known since 9th grade, another one of my best friends. Being that my husband and Justin are guys, I am not sure they would pull off J. Jill well, hence why they are picture-less in this post. They are definitely some of my True Blue Friends. No, that doesn’t mean they make me cry, just the opposite, it means completely faithful and loyal. I have to say, I am a pretty lucky gal when it comes to True Blue friends.
