One of the things I noticed missing as I have been reviewing the HTC Windows Phone 8x over the last few months was the lack of one of my favorite music apps…Pandora. I have loved having that on my personal (non-review) phone and really missed it as I have been testing out the Windows phone. I am happy to say all that has changed.
Windows now has the Pandora app available for the Windows 8 phones. To say it made this music lover happy is an understatement. I was able to quickly sign in to my account and have all my stations at the touch of a finger. Woo for music.
One of the plus’ about the Pandora app on the Windows phone is that it is AD FREE through 2013. Not to mention, only Windows Phone has Pandora with no ads and no limit on monthly streaming….for free. I love that I can pin my favorite stations to my start screen and just start listening without having to sign in find the station amongst all my stations (yes I have a lot). I can also see what’s playing by checking out the Pandora live tile (yet another reason live tiles are so awesome), which means I won’t miss that favorite song anymore…as long as I am paying attention.
It is time to have some fun and make your music listening much more exciting on your Windows 8 phone by adding the Pandor app. Enjoy the stations you love, no limit streaming, and no ads while you can. Head over and download the Pandora app today and start listening! I’m off to listen to some 80’s rock! What station will you be listening to?
