Welch's Jelly

As long as I can remember I have loved PB&J sandwiches…yes even as an adult I find myself partaking in them occasionally. The last few weeks we have put a twist on our PB&J…nothing big but a little something that makes this mom’s wallet a little happier. Check out the video to get a little more explanation about what I am talking about…

With summer right around the corner, soccer practice after school, gymnastics, and whatever else our busy lives through our way, I want to make sure my kids get a snack they love and will eat all of. Thanks to Welch’s Jelly I can do that in an instant. In the past it has been always the normal bread slathered with peanut butter & jelly. Which would result in crust being cut off and this mom cringing at the wasting of food. Thanks to the sandwich thins we now use, there is no more wasting and we are also able to use a lot less jelly (and peanut butter). Doing both of those things equals stretching our dollar.

Welch's

I also love that it makes it a little bit healthier for all of us because of the less calories, sugars, carbs, and sodium Using Welch’s Natural Spreads which contain no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors or colors, and no preservatives makes this mom a little more happy about the sandwiches they eat. Also the fact that Welch’s Concord Grape Jelly and Natural Grape Spread are made with Welch’s very own Concord grapes grown in the US and Canada. Not to mention, Welch’s Strawberry Spreads are made with sweet, vine ripened strawberries

On April 2, we get to celebrate National PB&J Day!!! As if we need an excuse! Welch’s is running a Facebook contest “PB&J Your Way” – tell them your creative spin on the classic sandwich for a chance to win $500 and a one year supply of Grape Jelly, plus 50 people will win a sandwich keeper. That would definitely come in handy for all our beach trips! Be sure to visit Welch’s Facebook to enter for your chance to win.

PB&J

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch’s. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.

we use those Sandwich Thins too. I don’t like a lot of bread with my bread (lol) so the Thins are perfect for me. And like you said, it’s not wasteful for the kids who don’t like the crust.

I love P&J sammies! However my daughter is allergic to peanuts, so we use cashew butter. Not the same but just as good!
    Have a joyous Holiday Season!
