Now onto my quotes. Today mine are on Christianity:

“Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.” ~ C.S. Lewis

“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.” ~ C.S. Lewis

“It is always the simple things that change our lives. And these things never happen when you are looking for them to happen. Life will reveal answers at the pace life wishes to do so. You feel like running, but life is on a stroll. This is how God does things.” ~ Donald Miller

“To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr.

“The purpose of Christianity is not to avoid difficulty, but to produce a character adequate to meet it when it comes. It does not make life easy; rather it tries to make us great enough for life.” ~ James L. Christensen

“An individual Christian may see fit to give up all sorts of things for special reasons – marriage, or meat, or beer, or cinema; but the moment he starts saying the things are bad in themselves, or looking down his nose at other people who do use them, he has taken the wrong turning.” ~ C.S. Lewis

“Going to church does not make you a Christian anymore than going to the garage makes you a car.” ~ Dr. Laurance J. Peter

I try to live my life in a way that’s pleasing to God and so I thought I am going to do quotes on Christianity this week. I am not perfect nor do I claim to be. I do my best and when I mess up I ask for forgiveness and that’s the beauty of God, no matter what he is always right there to welcome you back and dust you off. Thank heavens for that or every person in this world would be in deep doodie. It’s just a matter or realizing and admitting when you have done wrong, sadly enough some people can never do that and some people just can’t seem to forgive and let go. What a miserable life that is to live, I know I have lived it before but realized it was unbecoming of me. So I apologized for my wrongs and forgave them for theirs and when I did I felt so free. It’s amazing isn’t it how God works. So when the time comes for my path to cross their path in the near future I can hold my head high and know I did the right thing and that is the best feeling in the world. Okay now that is done LOL I can’t wait to get around and read all of your quotes today.

I loved “Going to church does not make you a Christian anymore than going to the garage makes you a car.” ~ Dr. Laurance J. Peter I have alwayas felt that my church has to feel like a home. I wont attend a church that is just a building. In the times that I havent had a church to attend, I was just as much a christian as when I go every sunday. This was such an awesome quote to see :)! You seem like a really down to earth person 🙂 Love your blog! (you’re favorited!)
