Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Soundfreaq. I received a Soundfreaq Sound Spot to facilitate my review.
Music is a big part of my families lives. We are on the dance and worship team at church, my daughter cheers, I danced for 15 years, there isn’t usually a day we aren’t listening to music. I have been on a country kick lately but I love all kinds of music. My favorite app, Spotify, lets me get all my music in one place, and until now it usually meant putting on headphones or blasting it through my computer speakers. Not anymore!
Thanks to the Soundfreaq Sound Spot, listening to music got a little more fun, okay and pretty. I don’t like speakers that are eye sores and the Sound Spot is great because you can match it to your home decor. It’s nice to have something that can compliment your home in stead of take away from it. Available in 11 color combinations (plus the all white, wood, and black versions) chances are you will find that is perfect for each room. I love the fact that it’s small, so it doesn’t take up too much room, but the sound is big!!
It’s size makes is super portable. My husband took one of the two we received to his office and I have one on my small desk. When summer hits, I am looking forward to taking the Soundfreaq Sound Spot to the beach, it will be much better than trying to use the speaker on my iPhone.
I can stream music wirelessly, which is great since it’s on my desk. I have too many wires already. The only time I will need to worry about wires is when I want to charge my phone or when I need to recharge the Sound Spot. Yep, you read that right, it charges phones too! The Lithium-ion battery in the Sound Spot is rechargeable so no worrying about buying batteries.
The Sound Spot is available for $69. It has won awards such as Gear of the Year” from WIRED Magazine in 2011, “Best in Show” from iLounge at CES 2012 and 2013, a Gizmodo Best Award in 2012 and “Mashable Choice” in 2013. With two Sound Spots, you can daisy chain two units via the line-out for a louder acoustic experience. Soundfreaq wants to make sure you have a great listening experience, which, I have!
This would make a great gift this Christmas for any music lover in your life. Do you listen to a lot of music?
