Sweet Sangria Recipe
Summer is in full swing. There will be lots of beach days, fun gathering, and of course lots of hot days. At the end of the day (or sometimes in the middle of it) we may want to wind down with a cold adult drink. While I am not a big drinker, as in I might have a drink once or twice a month that contains alcohol, when I do have a drink I love me a sangria..especially a sweet one!
This sweet sangria recipe only has 5 ingredients (and ice if you like to add ice, but I prefer to chill all the ingredients) and is ready in a jiffy! The fruit juice with the fresh fruit paired with the sweet red moscato is a fun treat for your tastebuds! If you are looking for an easy sweet sangria recipe, this is the perfect one to try!
Of course, when you have that perfect sweet sangria, you want to serve it in something pretty, which is why I was excited to receive products from Luigi Bormioli. A little bit about the company before I share my sweet sangria recipe with you:
It was founded in 1946 by Mr. Luigi Bormioli. The company has a commitment to great design, which is accomplished by combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with new-age glassmaking technology to create high quality and beautiful glassware. When you glance at it, it definitely rivals fine crystal, but it’s lead-free and best of all it’s affordable and widely available.I received two different glass styles from the
I received two different products, the Michelangelo Stemless glassware and the Michelangelo pitcher. I will definitely be getting use out of the pitcher for future parties (it’s perfect for my perfect sweet tea) but for today it was all about the perfect glass of sangria!
So, wait no more! Making the sweet sangria is very simple, the hardest part is cutting the fruit (if you choose to use it)!
- 1 cup red moscato (or any bottle of red wine per your preference I just like sweet)
- ¾ cup grape juice and/or cran raspberry juice (I fill up the measuring cup with half of each)
- 1 wedge lemon
- 1 wedge orange
- Pour wine and juice into cup
- Squeeze lemon and orange
- Add orange slice to rim or whole slice to cup
- Drink right away or allow to sit for flavors to combine
So, what are you waiting for, make this recipe to enjoy this evening or book mark it for your next get together. Don’t forget to check out all the products Luigi Bormioli has for your future summer happenings!
This perfect for summer sangria recipe has been sponsored by Luigi Bormioli Italian glassware but all opinions expressed here are my own.
