I was a lucky gal in 2012 and had the chance to attend 2 Brandcations. One was right here in my neck of the woods and another was in the beautiful mountains in Tennessee. I can’t even begin to put into words what Brandcation means to me, but I will try….in the way I know best:
You know you love my sick rhyming skills! Seriously, the past two Brandcations that I have been on have left me wanting to go to all the ones in the future. The memories you leave with, the life long friendships you make, the adventures you go on make Brandcation the place YOU NEED TO BE….well me in this case. I love the laughter I share with women I know and love, as well as the new women I meet. I am grateful for the friendships I make that are lasting…who knew you could make a best friend in one trip. I am thankful for the chance to conquer fears (like ziplining & parasailing) and learning to love those things I was afraid to try before.
It’s not a conference, no it’s so much more. It’s a retreat, a retreat where I get to be with friends and have time away from my hectic life as a mom. Without this win, I will have to miss this Brandcation and you don’t want me to be sad right? There are many more memories like this to be made:
I have such a big place in my heart for this wonderful event, it makes me sad to think I won’t be there. I have no doubt it will be AWESOME as it has in the past and memories will be made to last a lifetime…and since I have a lot more living to do I want some memories to take along for the ride. Plus, I am local and I love being able to highlight the local gulf coast activities, show some love for the gulf coast y’all! In the end if I could sum up Brandcation in one word it would be PRICELESS, because you truly can not put a price on the friendship, fun and memories that are made at each one of these.
Oh wait, I am not the only one who wants me to come, they think I need to as well:
Seriously, Brandcation has been my saving grace and introduced me to people who have helped me through some dark times in my life very recently. The swag, the fun aside (those are just extra perks), Brandcation has made such an impact on my life in the friendship department and in the last few weeks a friend I made at one of these events really helped me get through a time I was dealing with depression. I want to go to Brandcation so that maybe, just maybe, I can be that to someone else and share the love that has been shared with me because of these events.
Don’t forget to head over to Brandcation: DESTINation to learn more about the event, check out what Brandfluential is all about and pick up a ticket. Be sure to follow along on the facebook page to see what all is happening!
